Dr. Teodoro holds a PhD Degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and a MS Degree from the same university. His primary areas of expertise include high performance computing runtime systems to support efficient execution of biomedical and data-mining applications on distributed heterogeneous environments. Dr. Teodoro has researched innovative software solutions to enable the efficient deployment, and execution biomedical image analysis pipelines over very large multidimensional digitalized image slides.
