CIC/EST Building
On September 25th, 2012, CIC received its new facilities in a ceremony led by Dean Prof. Dr. José Geraldo de Souza Júnior. The building has a total area of 4,485 m2. This building is shared with the Department of Statistics (EST). Construction started in 2010, within the REUNI UnB's construction plan. There are also study rooms for the Graduate Program in Informatics (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) and the Master's Program in Applied Computing, a laboratory for students, a computational lab for graduate research and a 32 m2 study room. The building also has a 92-seat auditorium, 6 meeting rooms, and two 49 m2 multi-purpose rooms. The CIC and EST staff offices are also located in this new building, as well as rooms for the faculty of both departments. See the room reservation schedule.
